MOXON TIMBERS, USA: Building on our long term presence in Winchester, Virginia, we distribute lumber, flooring, and plywood nationally, and to the entire East Coast, Canada, and globally, while our Portland branch serves the West Coast. Currently situated at Winchester's Kernstown Industrial Estate, we are also conveniently located within the greater Washington D.C. and greater Northern Virginia areas, and a mere stone's throw from two of the ports through which we import and export: Baltimore and Virginia Inland Port. We also import and export through several other major ports throughout the United States.

Although we are based locally in the Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia, Moxon Timbers USA has a gobal outlook and reach, sourcing our products from all over the world including the United States, Asia, Latin America, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. We also control every phase of many of our wood products - sourcing, milling and finishing them in our own facilities internationally and in Virginia. We have drying kilns, a wine oak division, and a plywood division at our Winchester, Virginia operation and a distribution warehouse in Portland, Oregon.

Moxon Timbers is a member of several industry organizations, including the International Wood Products Association, the Wood Products Manufacturing Association, and the National Wood Flooring Association. We are genuinely committed to responsibly maintaining accepted industry standards and environmental sustainability standards in the markets in which we participate. For example, our Australian Cypress is PEFC certified, milled from sustainably eco-managed forests.

THE VIRGINIA CREW: The Vice President of the U.S.A. operation, Shayne Lachlan, has been with Moxon Timbers for over twenty five years. He came to the Winchester Virginia branch in 1998 to head up and grow the North American lumber and flooring operation. Shayne has experience in Australia, Asia, and the United States.

Shayne resides in the southern tip of Frederick County in Virginia's fabled Shenandoah Valley with his wife, an artist and alternative health practitioner who has clients throughout Virginia. They are both very involved in their local community, while also maintaining connections to communities in Washington D.C., Charlottesville (Virginia) and, of course, in Australia.

Shayne's 2 IC, Brett Ford, has been with the Moxon Timbers Virginia branch for over 10 years and has made his home in Winchester. Brett oversees all yard operations at the Winchester facility and steers domestic sales. Both Shayne and Brett have done extended tours of duty at the Australian division of Moxon Timbers.

Office administrator, Liz Miller-Sisk, a Virginian born and bred, has also been with Moxon Timbers USA for over 10 years. Liz has also made her home in Winchester with her family. She has watched the company ride the ups (and downs) of the lumber and flooring industry, and grow.

LONGEVITY: Although seemingly a comparatively small and modest little company, through its 30+ years in the USA lumber and flooring market, 100+ year old Moxon Timbers has sustained and expanded during numerous industry cycles in several countries, including during the tough economic times of the post-2008 economic meltdown in the U.S. Moxon Timbers is a quiet achiever that is not only holding ground but also growing through diversification, all at a time when bigger and riskier lumber companies have gone to the wall.

Winchester's Moxon Timbers is a tribute to the tenacity and integrity of the people who keep the Virginia branch moving forward.
